Good place to stay, great restaurant, quite a high price for what you get Positive: The accommodation was clean and spacious. Convenient to have a restaurant in the same building where service was fast and the food was great! Breakfast was also outstanding. And apart from peak hours at the restaurant (dinner time), there is enough space for private (free) parking. Negative: Communication and check-in was difficult. We were not expecting that hotel staff could not speak English. Also, we were told that making a reservation for the restaurant through the booking.com messaging system was not possible because it was a different system? Still, we could eat in the restaurant after arrival. Arrival: it was quite chaotic as the restaurant was full and parking spaces too. It appeared that Gasthof-staff was also running the restaurant because we had to wait for someone to help us at the reception. Then, we had to provide details for all guests in an online portal beforehand, but when we arrived we were told in a rather unfriendly manner that we had to provide those again and fill out form manually on the spot. That caused some confusion and irritation from our side. Also, the mentioned online portal was supposed to provide the code for the key locker, but that didn't happen either. All in all, some unclear information, misunderstanding and confusion that could be avoided by streamlining the communication and information. Last but not least: One of the house rules is to be quiet after 22:00, but our room was located above a room for personnel where loud noises and shouting were going on till at least 23:30. That was unfortunate. We hereby request that personnel is also following the house rules.

grandios Positive: soweit alles top, außergewöhnlich gutes Preis Leistungs Verhältnis & essen! Negative: nachts hörte man lautstarke Gespräche /Party - war dadurch erschwerter Schlaf / Einschlafen unseres Sohnes (7 Jahre). wir waren Zimmer Nr. 15

Nie wieder Negative: Bereits beim Betreten fiel ein starker Essensgeruch auf, der sich durch den gesamten Flur und auch im Zimmer bemerkbar machte. Das Zimmer selbst war in einem sehr schlechten Zustand: Die Fenster zeigten deutlichen Schimmelbefall, der Boden war klebrig und auf dem Bettbezug befanden sich Haare. Zusätzlich war der Blick aus dem Fenster direkt auf Schutt und Mülltonnen gerichtet – von Wohlfühlen kann hier wirklich keine Rede sein. Auch die Lautstärke war unerträglich, da das Personal deutlich bis ins Zimmer zu hören war. Aus hygienischen und qualitativen Gründen sind wir sofort wieder ausgecheckt. Insgesamt eine Katastrophe – wenn es möglich wäre, würden wir 0 Sterne vergeben.
